Import and Export Specialist

Conduct import & export operations, check and follow up of all the related processes including: 

Carrying out import and export transactions in accordance with company procedures and policies, all financial and foreign exchange transactions by contacting the official authorities, banks and logistics firms
Ensuring credit-debit processes
Identifying, organizing the shipments, initiating the process with the related departments, forwarders and customs agent
Invoicing, preparing, gathering and sending all exports related documents
Providing information flow through the departments and with the sales offices regarding exports imports transactions
Following up of the deliveries to the destinations, making sure there are no transportation problems, keeping sales offices updated with the delivery status
Meeting month’s-end requirements of the accounting department, providing invoices and other related information timely and properly
Following up all governmental processes and regulations, especially government incentives.

To be able to be successful in the role, you need to have:

Very good command of English

Excellent command of MS Office Applications
Bachelor degree Min 5 years experience in mostly imports and logistics
Knowledgeable in Customs Operations
Excellent command of verbal and written English
Interpersonal relationship skills
Analytical thinking skills
Problem solving skills
Effective communication and coordination skills
No military obligation for male candidates
Preferably resident in Istanbul Anatolian between Kartal-Gebze line
