Kampüslerimizde MEB ulusal müfredatlarının yanı sıra uluslararası öğretim programları (Cambridge IGCSE ve Cambridge AS/A Level Programı) uygulanmaktadır.

WE ARE HIRING – CHEMISTRY TEACHERS

Gökkuşağı Schools is seeking experienced High School Chemistry Teachers to join our academic team for the 2026–2027 academic year across our campuses in Ankara (Alacaatlı) and Bursa (Özlüce). Our campuses deliver both the Turkish National Curriculum and internationally recognised programmes including Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge AS/A Level Programme.

Applicants are expected to:
Hold a university degree in Chemistry or a related field,
Demonstrate high proficiency in English and be able to teach Chemistry in English,
Apply contemporary teaching methodologies and effectively integrate educational technologies,
Possess strong communication skills and contribute positively to collaborative school culture,
Be responsible, disciplined, and committed to professional ethics,
Approach students with care, respect, and a strong sense of educational responsibility.

Experience in teaching Chemistry within Cambridge / IGCSE / A Level / IB frameworks is considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Promoting a positive, purposeful, and professional school culture
Supporting and motivating students through effective classroom practice
Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured Chemistry lessons
Monitoring student progress and implementing appropriate differentiation
Assessing student work regularly and providing meaningful feedback
Preparing and conducting experiments, assessments, and examinations in line with curriculum standards
Communicating student progress and concerns with parents, counsellors, and relevant staff
Participating in school events, meetings, clubs, and departmental activities
Contributing to departmental development and cross-curricular initiatives
Keeping up to date with developments in Chemistry and education
Promoting high standards in academic English as the common language of instruction
Attending Parent Evenings/Weekends and providing constructive guidance for student improvement
Participating in INSET/CPD activities offered by the Department and the School

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (or a related subject)
Master’s degree preferred
Relevant teaching licence/certification
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (reference letters preferred)
For foreign teachers: Diploma Equivalency Certificate issued by the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK)
For foreign teachers: Valid Turkish residence permit
