Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

We are looking for OHS Specialist with the requirements written below for our Factory's Safety and Production Department.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Regarding to safety work and safety changes to be made in workplace;

- Planning, organization and implementation of work safety including design, machinery and other equipment statement, maintenance, selection and materials used.

- Ensure the selection, purchase, use, protect, maintenance and testing of personal protective equipment accordance with the legislation on occupational health and safety and general rules of occupational safety.

- To supervise the working environment, to plan and implement periodic maintenance, control and measurements that should be done in terms of occupational health and safety at the workplace.

- Making legislative works to prevent accidents, fires and explosions in the workplace and follow them.

- To prepare emergency plans for situations such as natural disasters, accidents, fires or explosions.

- To plan and implement the occupational health and safety trainings in accordance with the relevant legislation.

REQUIREMENTS

- University graduate (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or other related departments of Engineering Faculties)

-  Having OHS Health and Safety Certificate

- Hazard Class: Dangerous -  min. B Class

- At least 5 years of experience in factory environment.

- Fluent English & Turkish

- No obstacle to travel in Turkey and abroad.

- Valid driving license and active driver.

- Proven expertise on MS Office applications.

- Foreign companies working experience is preferred.

- Careful, tidy, self-motivated, energetic personality.

- Living in Ankara. (Preferably near to Sincan)
