Job Description
We are looking for a Project Director to be hired for the Project Management Department in Ankara office with the following job description and the qualifications:
The duties expected from the candidate will include but not limited to followings: Management of disparate experts from different backgrounds;
Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to the experts to implement those decisions;

- Effective planning of project activities and organizations of experts according to the project needs
- Monitoring of project experts and ensuring smooth, timely and satisfactory implementation of the Contract;
- Providing backstopping support to experts during the implementation of projects;
- Following the progress of the project with the aspects of time, quality and cost-efficiency;
- Close monitoring of project activities considering the project calendar;
- Ensuring administrative control over the expenses, preparation and coordination of interim payments;
- Liaising with Clients and building strong working relationship;
- Managing risks to avoid delays o reputational damage;
- Working in an office and on a project/construction site.
Required Skills
This role will provide a full-range of support to the environmental and/or transport projects’ portfolio of the Project Management Department. The candidate should be open to learning and having new experiences and demonstrate flexibility, creativity, humour, and dedication for the position.
- B.Sc. degree in engineering, preferably civil engineering;
- Minimum seven (7) years of professional experience in design, supervision, construction and management of projects implemented under FIDIC General Conditions of Contract;
- Prior similar experience preferably in an engineering & consulting company;Prior similar experience in EU technical assistance and construction supervision projects and knowledge of PCM and PRAG rules;
- Profound knowledge of English;
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.;
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize and work independently;
- Ability to proactively carry out administrative and technical functions proficiently, and to complete quality work in a timely manner;
- Having strong analytical and excellent communication skills;
- No restriction to travelling in Turkey and abroad;
- Ability to represent the Company in business environment;
- Have a Driving Licence (active driving) is preferred.
