Transformed into a 30-room boutique hotel in 2016 from a 70’s printing house, Nabu Karakoy offers comfort in a simplified luxury blended with tasteful and modern style.

We are now seeking for a new teammate to join our Front Office team as a receptionist:

• To provide a warm welcome to all our guests and visitors
• To consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• To provide quality service with colleagues to the guests by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout the guest's experience
• To assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• To respond to each guest who approaches the Reception Desk
• To drive rate through up-selling room brands
• To follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• To follow all safety policies
• Handle cash drawer properly
• Check cash float at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure at all times that amounts are correct
• Other duties as assigned

• Fluent in written and spoken English
• University degree, Tourism and Hotel Management is preferable
• Previous experience as a receptionist
• Knowledge of AmonRa (or any other well known PMS such as Opera) and MS Office applications
• Eager to learn, positive and energetic person
• Good team player, working well with other departments and co-workers
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous
• Must be comfortable in working flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines of hotel industry
