Senior Journalist

We are looking for an energetic, versatile and fast Senior Journalist to join the successful Turkish domestic news service based in Istanbul. He or she will help shape coverage of company news and a wide range of economic, political and general news stories.

The successful candidate will help break news and cultivate sources, write with flair and handle breaking news, and be prepared to juggle competing demands from our bureaux in Istanbul and Ankara. He or she will assist the domestic service editor-in-chief with the news file.

Candidates should come with good ideas how to beat the competition and how to deliver a steady stream of beats and exclusives for our clients. They should be equally comfortable chasing company executives and policymakers. With rich general, economic and political topics, the senior journalist should be flexible and willing to jump into different stories and help in coverage of major events

- University degree in Finance or Economy

- At least 6 years of reporting experience in Finance and Economy fields

- Very good command of English

- Good news judgment, editing experience an advantage

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Male candidates must have completed their military service
