Sr. Software Developer (PHP)

Shopio is a new generation international SaaS e-commerce platform that enables small to medium sized businesses to promote and sell their products online, without any technical knowledge or installation. We are looking for a skilled, motivated Senior Software Developer to work in our office located in Gebze Teknopark. If you're a passionate software professional, a self-starter, a good problem solver and have a history of success in challenging and fast-paced environments, you could be the ideal candidate for this position.
 
For the successful candidate;
 
What is required:
 
- BS degree in Software/Computer Engineering or significant relevant experience.
- Proven track record of a minimum 3 years professional web development.
- Solid foundation in software engineering concepts.
- Solid understanding of OOP concepts and software design patterns.
- Strong PHP programming expertise.
- Strong RDBMS expertise.
- Comfort with UNIX/Linux environments.
- An analytical mind to grasp concepts and solve problems quickly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- No military obligation for male candidates.
 
 What is a plus:
 
- Experience SaaS systems and e-commerce platforms.
- Experience consuming and building RESTful APIs.
- Experience developing scalable and distributed systems.
- Experience TDD/Unit Testing frameworks.
- Experience NoSQL databases. ( MongoDB, Redis, CouchBase etc. )
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Experience version control systems. ( GIT etc. )
- Knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Java, Perl, Ruby or Python
