Health / Safety and Environmental (HSE) Engineer

Job Description:

• Participation to HSE Management System activities in Head Office and Plants and managing system documentation.
• Work as liaison between Head Office and Plants for HSE Management System activities.
• Organisation and conduction of HSE Risk Assessments, Training and Audits.
• Regular reporting of HSE performance indicators.
• Following HSE legislation and ensuring compliance.
• Providing HSE input to operations and maintenance procedures and work instructions.
• Preparation and testing of Emergency Response Plans. 

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree (preferably in Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering),
• Minimum 2 years experience in HSE, preferably in industries handling hazardous chemicals such as oil, petrochemical, power, paint etc.
• Good command of English,
• Preferably holding C or B Class Health and Safety Specialist Certificate from Turkish Ministry of Labour and Social Security,
• Preferably holding Environmental Responsible Certificate from Ministry of Environment and Urbanization,
• Process Safety knowledge is an asset,
• Strong MS Office knowledge,
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organisation,
• Good presentation skills,
• Analytical mind with strong planning, organizational and multitasking skills,
• No travel restriction,
• B Class Driving Licence (Active driver),
• No military obligation for male candidates.
