Dragone is hiring talented FREELANCE ILLUSTRATOR for our creative studio in Turkey.

Dragone is a cultural creation company founded in 2000, by Artistic Director Franco Dragone, in La Louvière, Belgium. Today one of the world’s most sought-after artistic directors, he is renowned for having invented a new genre in the 1980’s and 90’s. The shows he created during his early days (Saltimbanco, Quidam, Mystère,Alegria, O) forever changed the face of live entertainment in Las Vegas and, decades later, these shows still receive nightly standing ovations.

• VISUAL RESEARCH on culture, nature, technologies, theatricality, art etc., 
• VISUAL BRAINSTORMING SKETCH EXPLORATION on « empty SPACE» to express visual inspiration that can feed designer teams and artistic director for further conceptual ideas.
• PRELIMINARY 2D and/or 3D PHOTOSHOP to express major intention of themes, looks and to do elemental explorations in stage space.
• DETAILED 2D and/or 3D PHOTOTSHOP to express scenography, lighting, special effect, acrobatic and costume ideas under the guidance of designer from different domains,  and the balanced relation among all elements on stage under the guidance of artistic director.
• HIGH QUALITY STORYBOARD with precise ideas of all major elements in show under the direction of artistic director, and a serie of storyboard evolution under the guidance of staging director.
• Work closely with artistic directors, artistic coordinator and designers to achieve in an efficient manner a variety of sketch illustrations, high-quality realistic and stylized visuals, sceneries, costumes, story boards, special effects, logos, presentations, etc. 
• Must understand and challenge the artistic director’s vision and translate it in emotional visuals. 
• Ability to incorporate detailed feedback.
• Participate as a dynamic team member to produce determine and share various illustrations, tools and techniques. The ability to share and communicate is a priority.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Work within production deadlines and changing priorities.

• An expert in 2D and 3D Photoshop, Graphic Design, Thematic clippings, explorative sketches, character design, stage effects, storyboards, corporate identity design, marketing visual, web and multimedia visual. 
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat and Illustrator). MS Office Suite (specifically MS PowerPoint) is a plus. 
• Solid foundation in color theory, lighting, form, concept, composition, and illustration techniques. 
• Good “eye” toward theatre composition, scenery, characters, costumes, light, color. Solid understanding of theatrical effects. Proficiency in English or French. 
• Exceptional artistic and creative mind. 
• Comprehension skills of different cultures and ability to implement the key elements in various designs. 
• Ability to work independently or work with various parties from different background as a team, either in the same room or from distance. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills: a positive attitude, a sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multi-disciplinary teams (creation, production, designers, architects, etc.). 
• Flexible problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, sensitivity to culture differences. 
• Self-starter with a passionate attitude.
