Finance Officer

Türk Telekom Arena is currently being constructed at Seyrantepe and will open in January 2011 as the new home for Galatasaray Spor Kulübü. AEG Facilities Management have been appointed to work in partnership with the Club to prepare for its opening and the ongoing operation of the stadium. As a part of the operational staffing and event management services AEG are looking to appoint a number of high calibre individuals to join the team working on this exciting and project.
•Prepare budgeting and forecasting for all TTA events.
•Preliminary financial liaison with both Galatasaray AS and AEG Facilities management
•Compile and review financial planning, budget management, business strategy, long term planning and contract negotiations for Turk Telekom Arena
•The key stakeholders will include Turk Telekom Arena General Manager of Operations, Galatasaray AS General Manager and stadium subcontractors and partners.
•Production of reports required for external purposes to keep in line with contractual obligations, and organization and management of related audit processes
•Key finance contact for project work in areas of non-football activity, completing analytical reviews and assisting in commercial decisions
•Monthly presentation to key stakeholders, assisting in and helping implement strategic decisions
•Ability to set up accounting processes and reports and identifying risks and ensuring controls are put in place to mitigate these risks
•Manage and coach AP/AR clerk and review all reporting documents produced
•Involvement and input with AEG legal department for new contracts to ensure financial clauses work for the business and the deal is commercially viable

•Must be fluent in Turkish and English
•Excellent core accounting skills
•Strong financial analytical skills and eye for detail
•Strong commercial experience and ability to help in strategic decisions
•Strong IT skills
•Knowledge of event and special event accounting
•Positive with a “can do” attitude
•Team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment
