To supervise the day to day performance of the Groups, Conference & Events Sales office and manage the active conversion of customer enquiries into confirmed sales to develop future and repeat business contributing to the profitability of the hotel. Ensure all relevant checklists/responsibilities of the GC&E team are completed to the appropriate standard and in a timely manner.

To maximize rooms, groups, conference and events revenue for the hotel through pro-active selling and commercial management techniques.

To deliver the brand standards of outstanding customer service, reservations, groups, conference and events whilst ensuring a clear and effective line of communication is maintained with the operational team, the rest of the hotel and the Revenue Manager.

Ensure effective information-gathering and analysis is conducted in order to identify and maximize on all possible opportunities and minimize any risks.

Interact with other departments and functions to ensure we exceed our customers’, owners’ and shareholders’ expectations.

To work within the values of Hilton Hotels & ensure compliance of brand standards

Aware of trends and propose ideas to build the range and quality of GC&E

Set achievable budgets and other short- and long-term functional goals

Provide effective leadership to the GC&E teams to ensure targets are met and exceeded both for the hotel and individual development

Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
