Job purpose

Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations and timely monthly financial statements, Issue Management reports and so on.


Duties and responsibilities

• Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role e.g. AR, AP, GL, etc.
• Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations.
• Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
• Perform cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
• Responsible for timely monthly financial statements.
• Review & monitor payment vouchers & journal entries.
• Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.
• Issue project cost reports for review.
• Issue Management reports on Monthly Local Sales Analysis, Monthly AR Analysis, Product-wise GP Margins achieved, Deferred Revenues & Costs etc.
• Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the HQ & regional set up.
• Ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy.
• Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns.
• Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain control on inventory reporting for HQ & regional / profit center inventory stocks & consumption.
• Control Fixed Asset sheet for monthly depreciation. Coordination with Admin & IT department for physical fixed asset records.
• Maintain Monthly Payroll file for bank payments.
• Coordination and reconciliation with HR department on payroll deductions & employee loan maintenance.
• Other adhoc administration assistance to Admin & HR departments for employee insurance, company insurance, fixed asset allocation etc

Corporate Requirements and Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles & procedures.
  • Experience in reporting expenses and reconciliations.
  • Experience in maintaining petty cash Knowledge of basic GL and expense accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

 

Education & Experience

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar

Minimum Work experience – More than 4 years of overall experience in accounting, finance and administration.
