Job Description

• Provide the perfect first impression.
• Process all guest check-ins and assign room. Activate or reissue room keys using electronic key machine
• Check out departing guests using the hotel's accounting system
• Has full knowledge of all products and is able to confidently give descriptions to guests
• Keep up to date on all hotel products, services, pricing and special promotional offers as well as daily VIPs and special events
• Be seen as a main point of contact for guests, dealing efficiently with enquiries and any complaints
• Is organized both personally and professionally. Is prepared and ready for service.
• Maximise Sales revenues, try to upsell room and cross-sell internal outlets
• General switchboard duties
• Count bank at end of shift and secure bank
• Actively engages with colleagues and customers at all times
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Excellent written & verbal skills in English and Turkish
• Additional languages (especially Russian and/or Arabic) would be a definite plus.
• University degree in Hotel or Tourism Management, Hospitality or Business Administration
• At least 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk or related professional area
• Knowledge of Opera is required
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
• Excellent grooming standards
• Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
• Result driven, proactive and reliable
• Ability to work under pressure
• Free of military service obligations (for male candidates)
