Mine Geology Supervisor

The Mine Geology Supervisor will manage and maintain geological work in the mine and will oversee the grade control function when needed. There will also be a direct interface with the exploration teams working on near-mine targets. This person will work with the senior management, mining, geology professionals and will oversee a small team on the operating open pit gold mine.

We are seeking a "Mine Geology Supervisor" to work at our Gold Mine located in West Africa.

Experience: 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in open pit gold mining geology, grade control, stockpile management, reconciliation
• Strong experiance of drill planning, logging and interpretation
• Good hands-on experience in geology modelling, grade control modelling and effective use of mining software ( Datamine preferable)
• Have a BSc Geology degree or higher

Skills: 

• Have an ability to use Microsoft Office to a high level
• Have excellent English written and oral communication skills
• Clean valid drivers' license (essential)
