Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc., the parent company to W Hotels, entered into a management agreement with Akaretler Otel Isletmeciligi ve Turizm A.S by Mr. Serdar Bilgili, for their plan in Istanbul.  With its east-west roots, the W Istanbul will complement the other four W hotels planned for this region, in Barcelona, Athens, Dubai and Doha.
Starwood will manage the hotel. Scheduled to open in Spring 2008, the W Istanbul will serve as the centerpiece of the redevelopment of the landmark Akaretler Row Houses in Besiktas.

 W Istanbul offers a total of 134 rooms including 28 suites  as well as the Extreme Wow Suite overlooking the Bosphorus. Worldwide famous SPICE MARKET RESTAURANT with Chef Jean Georges, meets with Istanbul within W Istanbul as well. Its fun, sexy and irreverent approach fits perfectly to this new hip district of town and the cozy and stylish spirit of the W İstanbul.
