Founded in 1979, Koruncuk Foundation provides access to formal education and consultancy services through psycho-socially and socio-economically preventive, protective and rehabilitative solutions to the children whose fundamental needs and access to education are at risk. Foundation aims to enable children to be included in society as strong, confident, productive and value adding, responsible individuals. It provides psycho-social and socio-economic support in varying levels to the youth over 18, who grew up at the Foundation. It also conducts studies for dissemination of social services models and studies at the national level and thus to increase awareness in the society on the children’s rights. It works for the protection of children’s rights and reduction of risks to access these rights with the Platform for Protecting Children and Their Rights, which the Foundation pioneered for its establishment with over twenty civil society organizations.
We are currently looking for a Corporate Communications Specialist who will work closely across departments in the Foundation and with the Corporate Communications and Projects Committee members. The person in this role will be responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the Foundation. She/he will be responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of various communications activities including digital campaigns, promotions and social media. A key component of this role is helping to increase brand awareness and recognition for the Foundation.

- Creation and distribution of messages and communications products for different internal and external audiences in close coordination with departments and the Corporate Communications and Projects Committee members.
- High quality interactions and clear and consistent communications with all stakeholders to ensure overall continuity and reshaping of corporate brand consistency and images.
- Draft content for both traditional and social media as well as Foundation's website.
- Delivering, supporting and evaluating fund-raising activities, corporate communications campaigns that need right and effective positioning.
- Accountable for the brand management, digital and analytics of the Foundation’s social media accounts.
- Liaise with mass media and handle requests for interviews when needed.
Aranan Nitelikler
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a communications role.
- Experience working with NGOs / nonprofits is an additional asset.
- Demonstrated skills, know-how and experience in communications and / or brand management.
- Experience in digital marketing is an additional asset.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle the issues and multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
- Work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent command of written Turkish to be able to produce high-quality content for diverse audiences.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.

KORUNCUK VAKFI
-Türkiye Korunmaya Muhtaç Çocuklar Koruncuk Vakfı; hakları risk altında olan tüm çocukların karşılaşabileceği olumsuz sosyal etkileri en aza indirmek için faaliyette bulunmakta; bu amaçla önleyici, koruyucu ve iyileştirici çalışmalar yürütmektedir.
- 1970’li yıllarda dönemin Çocuk Şubesi Müdürü Hüseyin Bilgin’in önderliğinde bir araya gelen bürokrat ve gönüllüler tarafından, İstanbul Emniyet Müdürlüğü Çocuk Bürosu’na gelen korunma ihtiyacındaki çocuklara destek vermek için devletle işbirliğinde bulunabilecek güçlü bir Sivil Toplum Kuruluşu ihtiyacı tespit edilmiş, bunun üzerine 1979 yılında Vakıf kurulmuştur. Vakıf yaptığı araştırmalar sonucunda ‘’Çocukköyü’’ modelini örnek alarak 1992 yılında, İstanbul Bolluca’da Koruncukköy Bolluca’yı, İzmir Urla'da ise 2019 yılında Koruncukköy Urla'yı hizmete açmıştır.
