English Teacher

Anafartalar K12 Schools is a chain of leading private schools in Ankara comprisinging 3 nursery schools, 3 primary schools, 3 middle schools and a high school located in various areas in Ankara, including Çankaya, Çay Yolu and Yenimahalle.  

Leading private K12 School in Ankara is looking for qualified native and non-native Teachers of English to start immediately as well as for the 2016-17 academic year. The successful candidates will possess the following attributes;

• A full degree (BA) in English Teaching or English Literature from an established university
• A teaching certificate in TEFL/TESOL (CELTA or Trinity College Certificate preferred)
• One full year's previous experience in teaching English in a school environment
• Incentive and drive in improving their teaching skills
• The ability to work smoothly and consistently within a team
• Problem-solving skills

Duties and responsibilities required by the job include:

• planning, preparing and delivering lessons at a variety of levels
• preparing teaching materials
• helping pupils improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through individual and group tutorials
• checking and assessing pupils' work
• attending all meetings and training sessions
• preparing homework tasks, worksheets, examinations and project work
• keeping student registers and attendance records
