Summary of Duties: Under the general supervision of the Readiness Program Manager (RPM), Deputy Readiness Program Manager (DRPM) and the Readiness Program Officer (RPO), the Readiness Program Assistant (RPA), assists with the implementation and delivery of the Readiness Program at Mission to enhance the Mission’s operational and physical security planning, emergency preparedness and resilience. The RPA primarily provides administrative support to the Readiness Program including assisting in budget management, payment requests and receiving invoices, and coordinating schedules and travel; and contributes to the Mission’s overall emergency management and business continuity planning.

Candidates will initially be screened against the Essential Qualifications relating to education, language* and experience.
Candidates must clearly demonstrate when applying to the position how they meet each of these essential qualifications.

Education:Candidates will be required to provide proof of the completion of their education. Successful completion of a Bachelor's-level university degree from a recognized university; ORA combination of education, training and/or experience (detailed information on the combination of education, training and/or experience is required) in an administration role(s)  
Language: Fluency* in English (both written and oral).Fluency in Turkish (both written and oral).  
* Fluency will be assessed by a variety of means including written assessment and interview.  
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the last 5 years working in an office environment in a program or administrative support capacity in a job role relevant to the position for example working in a security environment; emergency planning or preparedness environment; communications; information management; policing establishment or similar; or a government institution; ANDMinimum 1 year of experience in the last 5 years organizing agendas and the logistics for meetings and/or events and/or travel in a professional setting.  
RATED REQUIREMENTS
The Rated Requirements are part of the essential qualifications and are relating to knowledge, abilities and competencies. Methods of assessment for rated requirements may include, but are not limited to, a written examination, an oral interview (online pre-recorded/live or in-person), role-play, practical tests, presentations and/or psychometric assessment. 
Knowledge: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook  
Competencies: Attention to detail Client-service orientation-Judgement and discretion-Thinking things through-Effective interactive communication – oral and written  
Abilities:  Ability to provide recommendations to management Ability to analyze and display budget and key information Strong organizational skills e.g. making logistical arrangements, diary management, scheduling, planning, prioritizing  
Asset Qualifications:Preference may be given to candidates who meet the Asset Qualifications. Where applicable, candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet any asset qualifications. 
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel/OutlookDegree in finance or administration -Knowledge of the security environment within Turkey-Experience working in an Embassy, Consulate or an International OrganizationKnowledge of MS Visio software
Ability to communicate orally in French
