IT Specialist

We are looking for “IT Specialist’’ for our Multinational Client located in Istanbul – Europe

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems,
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for IT systems operations,
• Upgrade, install and troubleshoot networks, networking hardware devices and software,
• Ensure system security and follow up through monitoring the logs, control the daily back-ups and ensure their safety,
• Research and provide information on technical trends,
• Responsible for the provision of IT infrastructure services including desktop applications, Local and / or Wide area networks and IT security,
• Provide support for the implementation of the regional information security policy,
• Developing and implementing an annual IT management plan,
• Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.

• Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Industrial Engineering/ Systems Engineering/Management Engineering or a similar discipline
• Advanced knowledge of Windows OS and Mac Osx
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2
• Minimum 2 years of end user support and network maintenance experience and 2 years of team management experience
• Excellent knowledge of Computer Hardware troubleshooting and maintanence
• Excellent knowledge of Computer networks, network administration and network maintenance
• Broad range of knowledge on different software applications, ability to learn and support new applications quickly
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Availability to travel when required
