Job Description
- Having technical responsibility for the engine during shop visit, ensuring full compliance with technical aspects of both the applicable Aviation Authorities and Engine Centre, Customers requirements while supporting the business interests of the Engine Centre.
- Have overall ownership/responsibility of assigned Product line V2500 and CFM56 commercial aircraft engine types.
- To work within the customer support teams to create added value to the customer, meet customer commitments and requirements, be the technical contact for questions and support and be proactive with team improvements.
- Provide overall technical support and direction for the teardown, inspection, repair, modification, assembly and test of engines undergoing repair and refurbishment.
- Perform Configuration works on V2500 and CFM56 commercial aircraft engine types.
- Coordinate to resolve configuration issues related engine mod levels.
- Assist Finance department with fixed price determination.
- Assist Sales department for the preparation of proposals.
- Preparation and revising of engine work scopes.
- Preparation and revising of shop work instructions.
- Following of Airworthiness directives, Mandatory modifications.
- Investigate engine performance data and look at ways to technically improve the engine through overhaul. Active in engineering aspects of the engine test cell through performance and trouble shooting.
- Preparation and revising of shop visit reports.
Required Skills
- University degree from a university in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, master degree is a plus,
- Engineering experience is a plus,
- Good understanding Civil Aviation Regulations (Part145, Far43/145 Etc) is a plus,
- Excellent skills of communication,
- Being motivated self and result oriented,
- Excellent skills of analytical thinking and solving problem,
- Technical knowledge on gas turbine engines,
- To be customer oriented,
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken,
- Using effectively MS Office applications,
- Completed military service for male applicants,
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus,
- Experience of a multinational company is a plus,
- Having Line&Base Maintenance and/or Engine Disassembly/Assembly Training is a plus.
