Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay Bodrum is searching for a candidate for "Revenue and Reservations Manager" position.
LOCATION: Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay Bodrum, MUĞLA
START: 15 October 2015
SCOPE: Improve any revenue stream by selling the right mix of products & services, at the right price, at the right time, to the right customer, at the right customer touch point, using the right distribution network. The incumbent in this position is also responsible to materialise the maximum number of requests and reservations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The job of Revenue and Reservations Manager is executed satisfactorily when the employee:
- Effectively implements and complies with Kempinski Reservations standarts.
- Maintains accurate and timely entry of all relevant data in systems.
- Reviews and analyses data on an ongoing basis.
- Has complete understanding and effective execution of current and new Revenue Management tools.
- Assists in developing a career path for direct reports.
- Effectively manages and is in control of all inventory (transient,group, wholesale alootments and other) and pricing strategy in all distribution channels including branded web, 3rd party sites and the GDS.
- Ensures all distribution channels are returning appropriate availability and pricing for the following 365 days.
- At Kempinski, Talent Development is a management resposibility and consequently an integral and important part of our Managers’ daily activities.
- Drive Market Share and Revenue Performance.
- Develop overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channels.
- Produce accurate forecasts on weekly and monthly basis (+/-5%).

COMPETENCIES
- BA or BS Degree accredited college or university with major work in Tourism/Hotel Management.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Revenue Management, in a similar luxury Hotel brand.
- A proven track record of increasing revenue streams or strengthening the performance of a property or several properties.
- Experience with Revenue Management reports and market performance reports.
- Excellent oral and written skills in Turkish and English.
- Additional language is beneficial.
- Be proactive in achieving rooms revenue goals.
- Detail orientated and hands on.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective ability to supervise, motivate, train and develop employees.
- Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, enthusiasm and be a motivator.
- Ability to analyze data, make meaningful conclusions and base sound decisions and strategies on these.
- Good keyboard skills and proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include MSWord, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of PMS, Opera and IDEAS
