Key accountabilities

Responsibility to ensure top quality ships agency service is rendered to all

clients (external and internal)

Responsibility to ensure all services are promptly ordered & confirmed

Represents on local ship owners committee &/or port authority meetings

Working Relationships:

External : Customers, Potential Customers, Service Suppliers, Related State Organizations

Internal : Employees

Key Competencies:

Planning time to ensure the highest level of customer service is achieved at all times and

tasks are not only met but exceeded wherever possible

Commercial focus and a genuine interest in the maritime industry

Take an active interest in Group initiatives

Maximise business opportunities

Purpose of the Role:

Ensure the highest level of service delivery, first point of contact for all matters within

the area of responsibility.

Education and other skills:

University graduated or having degree from a Shipping (Maritime) related University

Excellent written & oral English

Good attention to detail

Communication skills

Able to function effectively whilst under pressure

Provide transparency/ honesty and integrity at all times

Flexibility regarding working hours and duties

Team focused

Ability to operate within a diverse organisation
