Technical Support Chemist / Chemical Engineer

Job Summary

♦    Technical Support to Manufacturing

-  Perform quality control of raw materials and products.

-  Help with paperwork related to manufacturing.

-  Follow up on quality complaints and help to solve the problem.

♦    Safety and Environmental Protection

-  Assist in fulfillment of EHS obligations in the assigned territory.

-  Advice for Sales, Operations Manager and customers on safe handling of chemicals and non polluting application and disposal.

v   Legal Assistance

-  Assist in the registration of products, raw material, equipment, container, packaging and other legal activities by providing the necessary technical support.

-  Ensure the company complies with local regulations from the technical stand point and report of any failures

♦    Technical Support to Sales

-  Assist Sales in the introduction of new products.

-  Assist Sales and customers in solving problems by providing the appropriate technical support.

-  Participate in sales seminars/meetings.

♦    Technical Research

-Evaluate the possible new products/demos to be introduced and furnish the technical data when required.

Required Personal Specifications for the Position

Education/Qualifications Requirements

• Degree level qualification in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Experienced on Microsoft Office applications.
• Be able to use basic Q&C lab equipments.
• Familiar with the local legislations.

Language Skills

•    Fluent English is must

Experience / Knowledge

•      2 years experience in Chemical Engineering / Technical Support to Sales / Legistlations Follow Up
