Purchasing Supervisor

Purpose of Position

• To source new beverage products and Pricing.

• To ensure all Beverage items have the best and are purchased at the best price.

• To manage the stores, inventory, and distribution of materials, supplies, parts, components, and tools. To record all transactions and maintain related records.

• To ensure that all goods received have been properly ordered and the correct quantities have been received, together with the correct documentation.

• To perform quality checks on all Cellar store inventories that has been received.

• To update Purchasing System (Moreton Bay) with all goods received for Beverage and to process relevant invoices against receiving data.

• Analyzing any quantity/prices variations and reporting to Purchasing Manager.

• College graduate or Bachelor Degree.
• Three years' experience in purchasing management or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
• Ability to plan for the effective utilization of resources for the purchasing area is required.
• Ability to monitor procurement processes and to conduct long-range planning necessary for contract scheduling is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail are required

• Must possess good organizational and administrative skills and interpersonal skills.

• Approachable, open-minded and fair

• Prior hotel experience would be an advantage

• Fluency in English
