Assistant Director of Finance

• To assist the Director of Finance in all stages leading to the preparation off all monthly financial reporting and analysis.

• To assist in the preparation of special statistical reports which may be required by the local management or the Divisional / Regional Office.

• To deputize for the Director of Finance during his absence and, therefore, to be fully acquainted with the Director of Finance's job description in order to carry out those responsibilities.

• To be fully acquainted with the Hyatt International accounting system, its policies and procedures, and those of the hotel.

• To maintain a second set of accounting to Turkish fiscal requirements.

• To liaise with the Owning Company accounting office for all matters regarding inter-company accounts and local requirements.

• To liaise with the external and tax auditors in compliance with local fiscal regulation.

• To be thoroughly familiar with the duties and responsibilities off all accounting employees under his or her supervision.

• To set guidelines and deadlines dates for each employee's monthly work in order to ensure timely financial reporting.

• To ensure that an organized, up-to-date filing system is maintained for all pertinent financial records.

• To handle all problems of the accounting office with the exception of those which have to be referred to the Director of Finance.

• To make sure that all Touches of Hyatt are implemented.

• To make sure that Rooms employees work in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of “We work through Teams”.

University degree

At least five years experience in a similar position with an international hotel chain

Good communication skills

Good command of written and spoken English

Administrative and interpersonal skills are a must

Team player

Self-motivated

Good computer knowledge
