THE ROLE:

We are looking for the potential candidate for Hire to Retain Specialist (Temporary Contract - Maternity Covarege for 1 Year) position in our Legendary Hotel Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus.

What will I be doing?

As a Hire to Retain Specialist (Temporary Contract - Maternity Covarege for 1 Year), specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Collect and verify payroll information from the original sources (HR input, time cards, time sheets, wage rate schedules, payroll deductions etc.)
  • To coordinate the information flow between the hotel Human Resources Department and the outsource company.
  • Have excellent knowledge of all awards ensuring the correct rates of pay are entered into the system and paid to TMs .
  • Ensure that standard procedures for resigned and terminated staff are in order.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources on payroll matters.
  • Ensure that correct paperwork is received, correctly completed and authorized.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of local labour laws
  • Prepare and distribute payslips as per policy
  • Ensure that tax rates and compulsory employee and employer contributions are in accordance with government regulations.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the payroll system and maintains all records up to date.
  • Ensure that correctness over-time rates (where applicable)
  • Audit attendance sheets, overtime, leave and other additions or deductions.
  • Prepare data for salary transfer to bank and ensures it is processed as per deadlines as well as prepare payments for casual team members (where applicable).
  • Ensure that all tax, superannuation, workers compensation payments etc. are paid on time without incurring penalty.
  • Prepare all payroll related journals and accruals and prepare and distribute payroll reports as required.
  • To prepare the required provisions and reversals and get approval by COE Finance Manager before posting them into the system.
  • To post all the charge outs and ins regarding corporate, cluster and on-loan personnel.
  • To post all the fix charges.
  • To close all the Chart fields in compliance with HWW policy and procedures before month end closing.
  • To control the salary payment file received from outsource company, to prepare bank transfer letters for expats, trainees and garnishment to make payment.
  • To get them reviewed and approved by COE-Finance Manager in a timely manner before sending it to the bank.
  • To control the mid-month advance amounts requested by the team members and get them reviewed and approved by COE-Finance Manager in a timely manner before sending it to the bank.
  • To prepare all the payroll related reports and reconciliations in a timely manner.
  • Preparation of Payroll related analysis and reports as needed.
  • Monthly internal / SOX controls to be performed, documented and submitted for review and approval.
