Maximize learning and development by providing a creative, fun and exciting environment in the delivery of training sessions
To identify, establish and monitor operational, supervisory and managerial Learning and Development needs and requirements, and provide feedback on a monthly basis to the Director of Human Resources
To produce a monthly Learning & Development report
To support the activities of departmental managers and trainers, and to ensure that all Learning & Development activities are geared towards the achievement of the hotel strategic objectives

To be responsible for the recording of all Learning and Development activities on the relevant databases
To hold a monthly “Departmental Trainers” meeting together with the Hotel Manager in order to elevate the profile of Learning & Development and promote a greater consistency in the levels of Learning & Development delivered across departments, with a specific focus on departmental LQE’s, Pillars, Mission Statement and Departmental Orientation
To publish any Learning & Development, Awards and Graduations in a fun and engaging manner in the Back of House areas
To organise Graduations of the Food & Beverage and Rooms Management Programme and any other development initiatives i.e. MOve Forward, MOve Up
To produce and communicate a Learning & Development Calendar encompassing operative, supervisory and managerial Learning & Development activities
To administrate the Performance Management System PROFILE for the hotel including providing a 2-day training for new colleagues
To manage and monitor the Education Assistance benefit (E-Cornell etc)
To conduct an annual Learning Needs Analysis and L&D Plan of all departments as part of the Learning and Development strategy for the preceding year
Excellent training and coaching skills
Two years L&D Manager experience in a luxury hotel operation
Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language
Excellent overall communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and power Point
Able to multi-task
Enthusiastic about training, managing and motivating a team
To ensure surveillance in their areas of responsibility Makes patrols in designated areas.
Ensure complete stock of first aid supplies and life-saving equipment are checked every morning before the opening of outdoor areas.
Equipment are controlled manually using the check list and recorded in the check list.
The surface of the pool water and seawater are monitored. (water color, feces, etc.) Pool inside and beach are checked that is there the glass, hazardous objects, broken stair, etc. Continuously monitoring of the beach & pool users.
To ensure the availability of life saving equipment.
Due to pressing with bare feet in the sand, sharp objects could cause injury. And the sharp objects is cleared from on the beach in compliance with Safe & Sound standards. Share important information with beach & pool users with regards to weather and water conditions.
It provides the contact information in case of emergency and for questions on the bulletin boards. Beach flags are used in the standards of ILS (International Safety of Life) by lifeguards.
Lifeguards wears red hat, yellow t-shirt and red shorts according to the ILS and TSSF standards at the beaches and pools Checks swimming areas and piers continuously.
Identifies sharp and damaging objects on the beach area, nails, splinters, rusted and mossy stairs on the sunbathing piers, writes a report and informs technical service and housekeeping departments.
Informs Security Manager about the event and persons in case violation of beach or pool rules persists and any accidents taking place in their area of responsibility.
Responds first and informs Hotel Doctor in case of an accident, injury or insect sting.
Responds first to the drowning person in all kinds of pool and sea accidents and drowning incidents.
When the boats or water sports vehicles violate the swimming area of guests, warns those who violate and make sure they get out of this area.
It warns to children if they joke with one another in a dangerous way in the children's pool.
According to the standards of ILS and Turkish Underwater Sports Federation, two levels of lifeguards serve as follows:
Silver or Gold certificate (beaches)
At least High School graduate
At least 1 year experience
Sports School graduates
Be on time for appointments and thoroughly review appointments after completing each treatment
Keep work area clean and neat at all times
Follow all Standards and Procedures as taught by Treatment Supervisor
To ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the Spa
Assist in the operations of all spa departments as required:
Spa Retail Area
Sales and Marketing
To maintain inventory of supplies for the operations of the treatment rooms
Maintain cleanliness and attention to detail in spa suites throughout shift
To attend daily line-ups, weekly and monthly spa meetings
Have the ability to courteously interact and answer all spa and hotel related questions with guests
Perform all treatments to the highest standards
Must possess appropriate licenses in massage and beauty therapy
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks
Must work in a safe, prudent and organized manner
Must be a graduate from an accredited school with a massage, face and manicure/pedicure license or a combination license
Must have a commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures as they relate to the Spa and hotel
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to network with contacts relevant to the Spa
Must have technical awareness and knowledge of a wide variety of treatments particularly for the face and body
- To ensure that the uniform provided is kept clean, presentable and in good condition, ensuring that personal appearance and hygiene standards are an example for the team and a demonstrate a professional image for our guests
- To ensure that mise en place is completed shift to shift and during service in order to provide an efficient service
- To ensure a full knowledge of the menu and wine list in order to respond or amend guests requests to their full satisfaction
- To greets guests and establish rapport in order to ensure guest satisfaction

To supervise the function of all F&B employees, facilities and financial performance to ensure maximum departmental profit and cost efficiency and productivity is achieved.
To coordinate and supervise the preparation, presentation and service of food and beverage products to ensure the highest quality at all times.
To ensure maintenance and programming of all F&B systems.
To ensure that all hardware is operational and updated.
To participate in public relation activities or promotional activities designed at enhancing the image and profitability of the food and beverage department of the hotel.
To provide leadership and support for all colleagues who are reporting to the F&B Manager.

Minimum 5 years working experience in a luxury hotel operation in a similar supervisory capacity
Excellent knowledge of all aspects of F&B Operations, including Restaurant and Bar Management, Banqueting, In Room Dining, Culinary and Stewarding.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English
Excellent command of both written and spoken Turkish language.
Experience in developing strategic business and/or Food and Beverage plans
Experience in Bench-marking activities
Experience in Food and Beverage budget preparation, profit and loss statement analysis and forecasting
Strong background on Food and Beverage cost control
Strong background on Food and Beverage technical knowledge
Approachable, open minded and fair
Ensure colleagues start and finish shifts at the correct time

Be familiar with all billing procedures
To handle all restaurant relevant equipment
