Communication within the market is a key objective for the role. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of communication skill in both verbal and written forms, with excellent Business Development/Account Management/Sales ability to build and maintain ongoing customer relationships. You must possess the drive, enthusiasm and personality to succeed in an ever-increasing competitive market for sales. Experience in IP Networks and Electronic Security Products and Services Sales would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be available.
• Perform well on creative marketing, business analysis, sales and customer development activities for products and services in support of sales and strategic objectives.
• Plan, prepare, structure and negotiate arrangements for sales proposals that incorporate bids for multiple public and private companies for high value contracts involving sales, technical, commercial, and contract issues.
• Efforts will require the ability to review bidder’s specifications; obtain and coordinate required sales, technical, commercial, and inputs from multiple groups; recognize and analyze unusual competitor threats; establish competitive price and evaluate profitability (risk/reward); identify and resolve problem areas.
• Use skills to obtain management approval and persuade management to approve customer offers while working with customers to understand their needs and expectations and assure their responsiveness to proposals.

• Recommend specific technical and commercial actions to increase market share by defining customer requirements and market needs; establishing pricing/commercial strategies; and evaluating the benefits, value, and potential for strategic products and services.
• Coordinate technical objectives, direct initial marketing efforts, and lead and direct development of new products and services for sales.
• Identify and evaluate industry cost/price bandwidths and trends and recommend tactical and strategic pricing policies for sales. Devise innovative new pricing structures to meet changing market situations.
